Expanding See-Treat-Follow-up approach to cervical cancer prevention (STF Project)
STF Project builds on the current Cervical Cancer Screening and Preventive Therapy (CCSPT) project funded by the Gates Foundation. The STF Project focuses on strengthening and scaling-up single visit (see and treat) approach for cervical cancer screening and cryotherapy treatment through the outreach service delivery mode, targeting most at risk population groups.
Gestation Diabetes in Central Uganda (GICU)
GICU project is a 2 year project implemented by Antenatal Care Service providers at RHU clinics and public facilities in Central Uganda to prevent and reduce the negative impacts of gestational diabetes. The project funded by Danish Family Planning Association (DFPA) is aimed at improving management of gestational diabetes (GDM) through increasing awareness about the short and long term health risks of GDM, screening pregnant women for GDM and engagement of key stakeholders in central Uganda.
