Closing the Gap (CTG) project

CTG project is a 3year project funded by Planned Parenthood Global (PP Global), to scale up access to family planning services, with a focus on IUDs, and address unsafe abortion through a rights based approach to quality services that are provided in adherence to Uganda Government policies, standards and guidelines for such services. The project operates in the districts of Apac, Lira, and Kampala.

Sayana Press learning Project (Sustainable networks grant) SIFPO II

With funding from USAID, Sustainable Networks supports RHU to increase learning for provision of Sayana Press by VHTs and facility based providers. By engaging VHTs in provision of Sayana Press, there will be more learning generated on provision of Sayana Press through activities of VHTs and will improve contraceptive method mix available at RHU service delivery points.

Rights Based Approach to Family Planning Project (RBA)

Under this, the implementer Support for International Family Planning Organisation 2 (SIFPO2) and the Ministry of Health aim to increase access to and use of high quality affordable family planning and other health products services globally. But the RBA depends on the recognition of the basic rights of all couples and individuals to decide freely and responsibility the number, spacing and timing of their children and to have information and the means to do so. The three districts focused on are Arua, Mbale and Kapchorwa. This project will be running until September 2017.
