Resource Mobilisation through Diverse Channels (REMO)-January 2018 – December 2018

To enhance resource mobilization efforts for better reproductive health service delivery.

Reproductive health Uganda has for the past yeasr made efforts to build relationships with new and existing donors which has seen the funding portfolio grow to over $ 4 million dollars a year. This has however, come with a challenge of ensuring that tis growth is sustained. The organisation therefore has to invest in seeking for new funding opportunities and also continuously reviewing its fundraising strategy. This new and unique project has been initiated to intentionally draw attention to the different prayers to the need to focus on the fundraising efforts of the organisation for better reproductive health service delivery.

RHU National Learning Centre – January 2018 – December 2018

To strengthen RHU’s capacity for Model Learning Center and hub for capacity building initiatives in SRHR in Uganda & within IPPF Africa Region
This is an on-going project aimed at building the capacity of RHU, fellow MAs and partners in the different areas of SRHR. It would achieve this by strengthening the capacity, systems and structures of RHU and transforming them into a canter of quality service delivery and provision of technical assistance and support to other IPPF Member Associations (MAs) and other Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), as well as a place where the interchange of knowledge and learning experiences can readily take place.

Strengthening Institutional Knowledge Management (SIKM) – January 2018 – December 2018

Donor/ Development Partner: IPPF

To establish a knowledge culture with appropriate infrastructure for organizational effectiveness and sustainability.
This project will focus on building RHU’s institutional memory that is people and information based through knowledge mobilization, transfer and utilization. Key activities include developing of key RHU documents; monitoring of the APB, the Strategic Plan; strengthening RHU electronic information system and cloud computing and increasing timely reporting and quality data capture .The main source of funding is to be the IPPF core grant.

Administration & General Services (AGS) – January 2018 – December 2018

Donor/ Development Partner: IPPF

To ensure the Association attains operational efficiency and effectiveness in use of materials and Human resources.

The AGS shall provide financial and logistical supports to the association to facilitate efficient and effective implementation of program activities. The Finance Directorate shall ensure effective control and efficient utilization of available resources for the smooth running of program activities. Focus shall be on proper management and accountability of funds and provision of administrative support within the entire Association.
